AWARDS AND NOMINATIONS

Deadmau5 has won 11 awards and has been nominated 19 times.  At the the Beatport music awards he won the best electro house artist and best progressive house artist.  Deadmau5 won the best single " Not Exactly".  He was nominated for best remix "Community Funk (Deadmau5 remix) Burufunk vs Carbon Community.  In 2009 he also won 2 awards at the Beatport and those awards were Best Electro House Artist and Best Progressive House artist.

At the 2009 Grammy Awards he did not do as well as he did at the other music awards he has been to.  He was only nominated for the Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical for "The Longest Road" (Deadmau5 Remix) by Morgan Page featuring Lissie.  At least he was nominated for something then nothing.

This was his 2nd best music awards.  At the 2010 international Dance Music Awards he won
Best American DJ and Best artist and was nominated for Best Global DJ and Best Producer.  He won Best Electro Track and was nominated Best Video for "Ghosts 'n' Stuff" (featuring Rob Swire).   He was also nominated for Best Progressive/Tech Track for "Strobe".                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          
In 2008, 2009, and 2010 Deadmau5 has won many awards in the juno awards.  In 2008 he was nominated for Dance recording of the year for "after hours" with (melleefresh), He won Dance recording of the year for "All you ever want" with (Billy Newton Davies).  In 2009 He won dance recording  of the year for Random album title, and was nominated for dance recording of the year for "move for me"(with Kaskade).  In 2010 he won Dance recording of the year for For lack of a better name.
